Community Recreation Center

ProposedUpcoming

A proposed recreation center with a gym, pool, senior wing, and after-school space — still in the site and program phase.

Franklin has not built a recreation center. Residents currently drive to neighboring cities for indoor swimming and winter court sports. Council asked staff to study a community recreation center that could serve youth, adults, and older residents in one building. This phase is about program, location, and cost — not a final design. No construction funding has been adopted.
