2027 City Budget

Community EngagementOpen for feedback

Help set priorities for next year’s budget before Council adopts the spending plan in November.

Franklin’s 2027 operating and capital budget will fund police, fire, streets, parks, and city services. Before the City Manager presents a proposed budget in October, we want to hear what residents want more of — and what they are willing to trade off. This is not a binding vote. It is a structured way for Council to see resident priorities alongside department requests.

Questions

Ask the project team

Why is the recreation center in this budget conversation if it is not funded?

Sandra Cole

Daniel OkonkwoCity response

It is not in the 2027 operating budget. We included a question so Council can see whether residents want staff to prepare a funding option for a later year.

FAQs

Is this a vote on taxes?

No. This survey informs the City Manager’s proposed budget. Tax levies, if any, would go to voters separately.
