Mill Race Riverwalk

Community EngagementOpen for feedback

A path from the old mill to the covered bridge, with lighting and a single accessible ramp.

The Selectboard asked for a walking path along the mill race after last year’s ice tore out the informal trail. This page collects comments on lighting, the ramp at Bridge Street, and whether the path should close at dusk. Elmsworth is a sample city. These comments and dollar figures are invented for the walkthrough.

Ruth Calder

Please keep the lamps warm, not blue-white. The mill houses sit close to the water.

Noted. The draft spec is 2700K and shielded. — Owen Bramble

Nia Pell

The ramp at Bridge Street is the whole project for anyone with a stroller. Don’t bury it in a later phase.
